Our relationship with a grantee is an investment built on a shared commitment to excellence. A major source of our satisfaction is our working relationship with charitable-sector entrepreneurs who have the character and ambition necessary to successfully execute on their charitable objectives.

We believe that relationships with the right strategic partners are critical to a charity’s success. The Rasch Foundation’s focused experience and expansive network allows us to contribute substantially to this dimension of our work with our grantees.

Of particular interest to the Foundation are charitable opportunities that address niche markets in the following areas:

The Rasch Foundation operates its own scholarship program. We will consider grants in other areas, including Child Abuse Prevention, programs that combat racism, and early education opportunities.

We place a particular emphasis on supporting organizations that seek to leverage advances in technology to delivery superior healthcare and medical services. We also support arthritis, cancer, and autism research in Canada.

We are interested in supporting charities that have provided long-standing leadership on conservation issues. We also work to identify and support a variety of organizations that bring breadth, innovation, and vigor to the cause of environmental stewardship.

This broad mandate encompasses a variety of issues including the prevention of animal cruelty, the protection of endangered species, and funding for no-kill animal shelters.

Simply put, a Social Entrepreneur addresses social issues by either starting a non-profit venture that solves a social problem, or employing a business startup mindset to tackle a charitable objective. We support Social Entrepreneurs in their quest to improve society, and we invite grant proposals for review.

The Rasch Foundation supports Jewish programs, with a particular emphasis on combating anti-Semitism, advancing secular Jewish education, and promoting Humanistic Judaism.

To apply for a grant, please email grants@raschfoundation.org. Your proposal must be in the form of an executive summary and should not exceed 2 pages. Proposal should clearly indicate your objectives, how you will measure your success, and the financial requirements to execute your plan. Please utilize our Grant Guideline Document for your submission.
